The fertility clinic sent everything with ‘PRIVATE & CONFIDENTIAL’ stamped across it. They blocked their phone number and refused to leave voice messages in case someone overheard or intercepted them. Their assumption was that I wouldn’t want anyone to know, that I would or should feel ashamed.
Added to this was a requirement to track my cycle in minute detail every day.
Pictured here are the envelopes from the clinic and the charts I used to record unmentionable information about my cycle. No details are revealed here just the key I created for myself, hinting at the ‘RAGE’ I felt during the whole process.
