Justine Walker makes photography, video, and drawing from the inside out. Her work draws on autobiographical experience — the female body, family, loss, and the complicated terrain of belonging — making work that is personal but reaches toward something widely felt. She is currently moving deeper into childhood and inherited family experience, tracing what shapes us before we have words for it.
